Marcelo Vedovatto, CFA
Chief Operating Officer
As COO, he’s responsible for the strategy and governance of the firm’s operating model, which includes execution of SCS’s client and investment management services, portfolio advisory, compliance, technology, trading, and fund operations. Prior to his current role, he held several roles across SCS, beginning as an investment focused Client Advisor within the private client group, then building out the analytics group in the investment team, and ultimately overseeing the firm’s asset allocation strategy, market and manager analytics, and research and risk management framework. Prior to joining SCS, Marcelo worked at John Hancock Investments and State Street in a similar capacity. Marcelo earned a B.S. in Finance from Bentley University and is a CFA Charterholder and a member of CFA Society Boston.
